You Can Help!

We are a non-profit organization and your donation is fully tax deductible. Our commitment to youth is made possible by the support of people like you. Our actual operating expenses come to about $1800 for each member yet we keep the annual membership fee at $20 to make it affordable for all our youth. Yet we still give scholarhips to anyone who finds this amount difficult. Donations from several sources cover about 30% of our budget. The rest comes from grants, foundations, fundraisers, and various other sources. If you would like to make a difference in the lives and well-being of our youth, you can do so in the form of a financial donation or by providing goods or services directly to the Club. There are several ways to contribute to the Club financially.

  • Participate in, or donate to, the several fund-raising activities of the club.
These are advertised locally and are mentioned on our home page
with details on this page when they occur.
  • Participate in promotions sponsored by local restaurants and stores.
  • Sponsor camperships for children to attend our summer camp.
  • If your employer participates in the matching gifts program, make use of this support.
  • If you are an employer who participates in the matching gift program, encourage your employees to give gifts you will match.
  • Or simply send us any donation which fits your means and disposition.
  • Send donations to:

Although financial considerations are important for keeping our work going, the grace of God is equally important. Thus we ask that you keep the effectiveness of our mission to the young and their needs and the needs of their families in your prayers.

Further information can be obtained by contacting Stephen W. Fielding, Director of Development and Communications, at (617) 567-0863

Also, Salesian MASS CARDS are available from salesianmasscards.com or directly from the Chapel office in our building on 150 Byron Street. Offerings via Salesian Mass cards are a special way to remember loved ones, whether living or deceased, by having them share in the spiritual benefits of Masses, prayers and good works of the Salesians. Your contributions to the Salesians for these cards help support the Salesian Boys and Girls Club of East Boston in their educational efforts with the youth of our area.

Ninety Nine Logo

Ninety Nine Restaurants have made Boys & Girls Clubs their charity of choice. Each Ninety Nine Restaurant partners with their local Boys & Girls Club (that's us!) to help further the mission of the Club.  The Revere Ninety Nine runs regular fund raisers for our Club, collects Christmas gifts for our young people and honors our Youths of the Month with a complimentary lunch.  Our "Youth of the Year" will be rewarded additionally with a gift from the folks at the Revere Ninety Nine! By visiting our local Ninety Nine partner, you can help them to help us...and enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner out!

Our friends at Ninety Nine Restaurants hosted 99 kids and chaperones at Fenway Park on Thursday evening, August 23, 2012 and presented a check for $200,000, symbolizing the money they raised for neighboring local Boys & Girls Clubs during their Club fundraising month last October. This year John Grady, Brad Schiff, Jason Goodrow and their fantastic team members all around New England and upper New York State have pledged to raise $300,000 for their local Clubs! To kick off the effort they produced this 6 1/2 minute Boys & Girls Club / 99 Video featuring kids and staff from several Clubs and local Ninety Nines.
