Father John Nazzaro, Executive Director
Father John knows what the club is about, having
grown up in East Boston and attended the Club when it operated on Paris Street.
Father John attended Savio High School before entering the Salesians, and
has extensive experience in school administration and youth work in
general. When he's not refereeing basketball games or greeting
members at the door, we know he is doing those 101 little things that
need to be done to keep the Club up and running.
Father Richard Putnam
Father Rich is another native Bostonian and hails from Dorchester. He
attended Don Bosco Technical High School in Boston, graduated from
Boston State College He taught in the Boston Public Schools and Hanson
Public School system before joining the Salesians. He runs the evening
snack program at the club, assists in the Technical Center, and shuttles
members in the van when needed, including the "Salesian Shuttle" every afternoon at 3 PM!
Father Richard Cressman
Father Richard returned to East Boston after a period at the Salesian Boys &
Girls Club of Columbus (Ohio).
Earlier, he was at the Club on Paris Street for nine years.
He has degrees from Penn State and Ohio State and worked for the USDA before becoming
a Salesian and has taught religion, math and sciences in our Salesian High Schools.
Father supervises the Learning Center assisting club members with their schoolwork
and tutors in math & science. He also teaches chess. He is a native of Pennsylvania.
Brother Bernie Dube
Bro. Bernie hails from Lewiston, Maine and has been a Salesian for over 40 years.
He has ministered in various capacities in Salesian schools, parishes, and administration in both the
United States and in Canada, where he had been for the previous 24 years before returning to the States.
His ministries include school chaplain, youth minister, a director of a Salesian day camp, and a vocation director.
He is a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tiffany Stack
Tiffany supervises the new pre-teen room.
She had been a club member during her early years and graduated from East Boston High School.
Since then, she has been a member of the staff and a counselor in recent summer camps.
She assists in several other assignments.
Mario Baldassari
Mario coordiates the gym activities. He was a club member as a youth, was the 2008 Youth of the Year and, after graduating from E. B. High School, joined our club staff.
Nick McCue
Nick recently graduated from club member to club staff and takes
on the awesome responsibility of overseeing the activity in the Fitness Center.
Robert Baglio
Robert was, just a few short years ago, another "Club Kid."
He assists primarily with the gym activities.

Stephen Fielding, Director of Development and Communications
Stephen Fielding joined the club as the director of development and communications in May 2011. He is a graduate of the former St. Dominic Savio High School, class of 1972. Mr. Fielding gre up in Winthrop and has resided in Revere for many years. He has over thirty-years experience in directing marketing communications and public relations initiatives in the corporate sector and in fundraising development for not-for-profit sectors.
Nicole McCormack
Nicole is a former club member and a graduate of East Boston High School.
She started as a counselor during the summer camps and then became a full time staff member.
She wants to become a health educator and reach out to at-risk youth. She was the teen coordinator during the last school year and is now the new Program Director.
Katie Forbes
Katie runs the recently-created Dance Studio.
The varied activities she creates make this an extremely popular area for members of all ages.
Jennifer Pepi
Jennifer supervises the art room where she loves being creative with the members. She is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy and Boston College and now lives in Winthrop with her two teenage daughters. Jennie has worked with young people as a caseworker, peer mediation trainer, piano teacher and girl scout leader.
Maria Waldron
Maria was a kindergarten teacher at St. Mary's school
for five years and the Girls Camp Director for East Boston camps for six years
and is the proud mother of two young children. She assists with homework help in the
Learning Center and is also responsible for those delicious aromas that drift out of the kitchen during cooking class!
Renee Landry
Renee is the first and last person that all club members see when they
enter and leave! She handles the membership data, enters member data into the computer,
generates reports, issues receipts, makes phone calls, watches the doors...let's, distributes
flyers, just say her job is essential to the smooth running of the Club.
Ed Demaso
Ed is our Tech Support person and Network Administrator.
He has the daunting task of keeping our
40+ computers talking to one another.
Jim Gleason
For years Jim has been the support person
whose steady routine makes it possible for the rest of us to do our
jobs. Whether it's sweeping, mopping, disinfecting or emptying
wastebaskets--he's on it! Even Jim is not sure how long he has
worked here!
