Salesian Boys & Girls Club offers a variety of programs to keep all of our members engaged, interested and learning at the highest level.  Here are some of the activities that our members take part in during their time at the club.


Project Learn

This strategy is based on research demonstrating that students do much better in school when they spend their non-school hours engaged in fun, but academically beneficial activities. Through Project Learn, Club staff use all the areas and programs in the Club to create opportunities fo these high-yield learning activities, which include leisure reading, writing activities, discussions with knowledgeable adults, helping others, homework help, tutoring, and games, that develops young peoples' cognitive skills.Project Learn also emphasizes parent involvement and collaboration between Club and school professionals as critical factors in creating the best after school learning environment for Club members ages 6 to 9.


Homework Help & Tutoring

Academic excellence is one of our highest priorities for our young people. Our strong relationships with local schools and parents allow us to serve our kids’ daily needs and challenges. Our education center is open every day from 2:00pm-6:00pm.

Dance Studio

Dance instruction is offered three days a week. Our studio is always busy with our most creative members learning different styles of dance, practicing yoga, working out to Zumba or flipping on our gymnastic mats.


Cooking Class is one of our most popular places to be in the club. Our kids get a chance to be hands on in our kitchen learning everything about healthy food preparation. We make something new and delicious every week and the best part is eating it at end.


Maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle is an important goal we have for all of our members. We offer a daily gym class, winter basketball leagues, spring soccer leagues, daily fitness challenges, open play periods, teen sporting events, and girl’s gym programming. Our members are encouraged to get involved in one of the offered athletic opportunities to make sure they get enough physical activity to be the best they can be.
